Frequently Asked Questions
Questions our local DJ team gets asked all the time:
- Can My DJ Play Our Music?
Yes. Our priority is to play the music you want to hear throughout your entire event. We can take both requests during the event and also online via our planning forms.
When using our planning forms, you can select your 1) must play songs, 2) optional songs, and 3) your do not play songs.
- Am I Required To Pay A Deposit?
Our team requires a deposit payment to secure our services for the date. The deposit fee is 50% of the total amount, and is refundable up to 3 months before your event. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to your event. There is more information on our FAQ page.
- Can I Meet My DJ Face To Face?
Yes of course! We always highly encourage our clients to meet our team in person. We can sit down, buy you coffee and go over the details of your event. If it works better for you, we can also speak over the phone, Skype or by email. Here is a list of our DJ team.
- Will My DJ Be Able To Play Guests' Requests?
Yes! Our DJ will be able to pay as many requests as you’d like them to play! If we have access to the venues wifi, we can also download any songs on the fly and play them live – in case we don’t have that particular song downloaded.
- Am I Able To Choose My DJ?
Definitely! You are able to select anyone on our team you feel is the best fit for your event – and you’re welcome to chat with as many of our DJs as necessary to find that person. The decision just depends on your preferences and our availability.
Would you rather hire a engagement DJ, graduation party DJ, Bat Mitzvah DJ, quinceanera DJ, office DJ, childrens DJ, prom party DJ, mobile DJ, DJ Services, DJ entertainment or a sweet sixteen DJ instead?
- Can We Have Ethnic Music?
Absolutely, our DJs can perform ethnic music as well. When it comes to ethnic music, however, we always recommend that you send us the exact music that you’re looking for by either 1) a YouTube link to info@djing.ca, 2) a dropbox or google drive link, or 3) bringing a USB Stick with all the music.
